ROSEN METHOD MOVEMENT TEACHER TRAINING

Rosen Method Cascadia Centre is a Registered School with the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of BC (PCTIA).  It is certified by the Rosen Institute, California. Training is Tax Deductible.

One unique aspect to the training received at Rosen Method Cascadia Centre is that our courses are given in a residential-type setting that supports the students and deepens the process of learning.

BRIEF PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONRosen Method Movement
The training program in Rosen Method Movement consists of three levels of training which leads to Certification by the Rosen Institute as a Rosen Method Movement Teacher. Rosen Method Movement is a system of range-of-motion and stretching movements set to music, for the purpose of experiencing the joy of moving freely and easily all your life.  These are designed to lubricate the joints, expand the chest, and loosen the diaphragm. Students experience Rosen Method Movement and observe the effects of this work in themselves and their fellow students. The curriculum includes demonstrations, teaching the principles of this work, anatomy, the relationship of music to the movements and the practice of Rosen Method Movement under supervision.

Level 1: Beginning Training consists of a minimum of 75 hours of classroom time in courses taught by a certified Rosen Method Movement Training Teacher. Courses are presented at three 5 day Intensives. It is recommended that students attend Rosen Method Movement classes between courses.

Level II: Advanced Training consists of a minimum of 75 hours of classroom time in courses taught by a certified Rosen Method Movement Training Teacher. Courses are presented at three 5 day Intensives. It is recommended that students attend Rosen Method Movement classes between courses.

Level III: Certification Level consists of a minimum of 18 hours of classroom time, including 3 Supervised Rosen Method Movement classes and 3 Professional Consultations with the Rosen Method Movement Training Teacher.  The intern is required to teach 25 hours of Rosen Method Movement and to write a final paper.  If the student has not attended an Introductory Rosen Method Bodywork Workshop, this must be done before certification.

The entire Level III is under the supervision of a Certified Rosen Method Movement Training Teacher, who consults with the Director of Teaching and the School Owner.
